Brian Dobbs DRTMer of The Month - August 2011

After moving to Arizona I quickly found my way to my first Toastmaster meeting.  Within the first few days at my new job Mike Randall invited me to attend a DRTM meeting at least five times.  I had already heard a lot of things about Toastmasters, but was curious to find out what Toastmaster’s was all about.   

 I was blown away at the high caliber of speeches that were delivered at my first meeting.  The training these people had received in Toastmasters had helped them become exceptional speakers. 

  I am glad I joined because Toastmasters has really helped me with my confidence when delivering speeches and making presentations. 

I can’t believe it, but after getting some training in Toastmasters I actually like when I am called on to present in front of colleagues, prospects, and customers.
